The drill-down feature enables you to explore your data in greater detail, refining your view step by step to uncover deeper insights and identify root causes of issues or anomalies. For example, if your dashboards reveal fluctuations in production volumes, you can use the drill-down to navigate from a monthly overview to weekly, daily and finally machine-level data, pinpointing a defective seal in the filling machine and taking targeted action to resolve the issue.
The drill-through feature allows you to connect and analyse data across multiple dashboards or external applications, enabling a broader, horizontal perspective. For instance, if your dashboard reveals a high rejection rate in a tablet production batch, you can use drill-through to move directly to the quality management system. There, you identify that the raw materials for the batch came from a new supplier, helping you trace the root cause and mitigate future risks efficiently.
The broadcast feature enables dynamic linking between widgets within a dashboard, allowing for synchronized data updates and interactive analysis. For example, selecting “Shift 2” in a pie chart displaying production volumes automatically filters the entire dashboard to show data specific to that shift. This reveals longer setup times for “Shift 2”, helping you implement targeted efficiency improvements.
The waterfall chart for OEE factors helps you visualize and identify your biggest losses with ease. To set it up, simply add a widget with the “LogonAnalysis” data source, select the waterfall analysis type and define the desired date range using the “ProductionDay” filter.
The shift performance analysis type provides a comprehensive overview of shift data at a glance, including produced amounts (green line/area on the y-axis), production speed (green line/area inclination over time on the x-axis), target achievement (comparison of green vs. blue line/area inclinations) and downtime reasons displayed below the area chart as a Gantt diagram. This valuable information supports root cause analysis and drives process improvements.
The “MarkerLine” feature for line charts in Data Analytics enhances clarity and context by visually emphasizing critical values, making it easier to interpret data in relation to specific goals or benchmarks. By providing immediate visual cues for deviations and trends, “MarkerLines” allow you to quickly assess performance or identify anomalies, enabling faster and more informed decision-making.
This Data Analytics update introduces variable colours for bar, pie and funnel charts, improving and standardizing their visual presentation. You can customize these colours using a predefined colour table or link them to data sources, such as status class colours, for enhanced clarity and consistency.
Defined columns in table reports can now be displayed as bars, enhancing the visual effect and improving data presentation for clearer insights.
Data Analytics dashboards can now be rendered as PDFs for easy storage and archiving. This feature enables well-formatted printouts, reduces manual effort in report creation and provides useful materials for shift meetings and workplace displays.
New filter options in Data Analytics allow precise customization of analyses for different user groups, ensuring everyone gets the insights they need. With more possibilities for detailed evaluations, easier dashboard customization and time-saving global filters, data analysis is now more flexible and efficient.
A new filtering feature allows you to limit displayed data records to a specific number, providing a clearer overview, saving space in widgets and enhancing focus on key insights. This ensures better data visualization and more efficient use of dashboard space.
Predefined time filters save time and offer flexibility by allowing automatic adjustments for relative periods like yesterday, today, or the last 7 days. Additionally, custom filters can be created to meet specific requirements, ensuring more precise and dynamic data analysis.
Experience a new dimension of data analysis and optimise your decision-making processes with the innovative new Data Analytics features. The update offers you improved visualisations, flexible customisation options, deeper insights and even more efficient root cause analysis.
We look forward to seeing how these improvements will support you and your team. For more details, please consult your user manual or contact us directly: we will be happy to help and advise you if you have any questions or feedback.
Stay tuned – more updates coming soon! 🚀
